[nr telegraph— run press association WOOI/ SALK. C lIRJSTCHURCI I, February (i. The wool sole was contimictl this morning and terminated this afternoon. In the earlier stages of the market today there was a tendency to a brighter tone, hnt this was shortlived. r lhe sale was dragging, and as on the first day, limits were sharply defined. Passings maintained the proportion of the previous night, and comprised, lor the whole of the catalogue of ‘20,00!) hales, a total of <1234, hales or about 21 per cent.

Easing has to ho taken into account with heavier condition of the catalogue, compared with previous sales. With allowance made for this fact, the market for medium hnlfhred wools and crossbreds was down on the last sale by 3d per II). Kellmongering lots and merino fleece showed, if anything, a more pronounced easing, whilst the good class of hnlfhred eased to the extent of 2jd per lh on prices at the end of November sales.

The top figures, 32Jd for fleece wool reported yesterday were not altered. The early activity of local mills was not maintained. A satisfactory feature was that a fair weight of wool appeared to |he taken 'to America. Local scouring linns bought price lots very cautiously.
