Donovan he appointed to the vacancy on the Mining Committee.” M. The Chairman to move: —" I hat Cr. Duff he appointed to the vacancy ,m the Public Works Committee.” 4. The Chairman to move: —“That the Public Works Committee, in view of the loss of revenue from motor vehicle licenses, report on the reorganisation of the road maintenance staff with a view to establishing lor the coming financial year a more economical system, introducing permanent surfacemen where considered suitable in lieu of casual labor; and proposing such other charges as may be considered advisable.”
5. Cr. Duff to move:—“ That urgent representations be made to the Public Works Department to proceed with the re-erection of V aittioa Creek bridge, Stafford, with the least possible delay.”
