FLOODS IX QUEENSLAND. j BRISBANE. February 5. Following torrential rains. Hoods occurred in Northern Queensland, the railway lines being damaged am. trains seriously delayed. At Bowen 102 points fell in twentyfour hours. The Inkerman bridge over the Burdeken river was broken, logs measuring thirty feet by three feet being swept down the river, several becoming jammed in the bridge.
