Advice was received to-day. eome>i„g news of the death at Wellington of .Mrs Kcclestield, widow ot the jute Air Robert Eeclesiield, ot Hokitika. The deceased, who bad resided in Maiford street, Hokitika, for a long period of years, removed to Wellington some thirty years ago. She bad 11 1 " ". tailing health for some years, and laui attained a ripe age. Deceased leaves one son (Mr R. CL Ecclesnehl, customs oHi ter. (Christchurch) and throe dan gbers. Mr T. Eceleslield, of Tvokatalu, is a. grandson.
