'Join Mix, the popular Fox Star will ho seen at the Princess Theatre tonifiht in liis latest production entitled I'.ves ot the Forest.” Mix appears in a new role in this picture, essaying an army aviator in the Forest Air Service of California. In the cast with Mix are Pauline Stark, Sid Jordan, Kd Wnlloek, Tom l.inghani, J. P. Cockney and ISustcr Gardner. “ K.ycs of the Forest.” written hv Shannon Fife, is the story of Ilruce Thornton, an army aviator who has heen assigned to forest, ranger duty. Mis first trip over the woodland brings him in contact with Ifutli Meiler, whom ho recognises as a girl who is sought on the charge of kililrig her step-lather. Bruce "falls” for the girl and, convinced that the murder charge is a mistake, decides to ferret the evidence out before delivering her to the authorities. Morgan the girl’s unwanted husband, boss 'of a lumber thieving gang, comes into the case. The method by which firna proves the innocence of the girl and brings the lumber thieves to justice, furnishes a thrilling, pulsating sto r ~ in which Mix has many opportunities to perform his individual stunts. A good supporting programme will also ho shown including a two-reel comedy and the latest Fox News. On Thursday, D. W. Griffiths, the world’s greatest producer presents his latest !>ig success entitled "The White Rose,” with a specially strong cast 'of plovers The prices for this big special are fid extra for adults.
