Interviewed regarding the Greek protest, tl 10 Commissioner of Foreign Affairs said the (iovernment intended to expel every one, subject to the operation of the Exchange Convention. The Greeks could still appoint a patriarch, who would he exempt from the stipulations of the convention, Russia had once used the patriarchate for political purposes, and Turkey was not going to allow a repetition of this action. TURKEY LOOKING FOR .THOUISLE. ATHENS, Fbruary 2. Turkey is preparing to expel an additional 111 bishops and priests for the purpose of provoking a panic among the two hundred thousand Greeks in Constantinople and causing them to flee to Greece. Meantime it has been decided to nominate a Patriarch to replace Constantine.
