AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION A WOMAN’S DELUSION. BERLIN, February 1. The Russian .woman who attempted to murder M. Krasin with a revolver, forced an entrance into Professor Einstien’s house with the same object, but the servant frustrated her and handed her to over to the police. 'The woman who was placed in a lunatic asylum, held the delusion that Einstein helped the Tsar’s anti-revolution-ary police.
WOMAN'S PRESENCE OF MIND. LONDON, Feb. 2. The “Daily Express’’ Beilin correspondent reports that the courage and resource of Frau Einstein saved her husband's life when Eugenie Una Dickson forced an entry into the house. Frau Einstein confronted the wild woman, who was grasping a revolver and assured her that her husband was not in the .house. Dickson tried to force a. way towards the study, and Frau Einstein, fearing her husband would hear the noise and come out to see what was the matter, determined to adopt .subterfuge. So she smiled quietly and said: “I will telephone friends of the house if you like.” The woman immediatelv became calmer, and said: “Don't 'trouble. I will call again,” and went away. Frau Einstein then called the police, and when Dickson returned five defectives wore awaiting her. She struggled violently, and a loaded revolver fell. The woman was carried to a motor car.
