[by TELEGRAPH —PER TRESS ASSOCIATION. GAMBLING ARRESTS. AUCKLAND, Jan. 30. The. police raided an alleged gambling house in Victoria .Street to-night, arresting 22 persons on the premises, 12 of whom were Dalmatians. An ActingDetective (who preceded the others), managed to secure a bedded dice box, the dice themselves being thrown out through a lavatory window. The police state the games being played were hazards and Santa Lu. The premises are called tho Auckland Adriatic Social Club, and occupy- the top floor of a three-stoTey building.
