They say that a statement will he made to the I'inaiiee Committee on February 13. .Air Present declared: “The finances have nothing to do with the New Zealand public.” It was solely, he said, a matter for the English Union. The Australian Press Association lias ascertained from reliable sources, that a conservative estimate of the profits exceeds £50,000. The aggregate of the attendances was 050,000. It is stated that the profit cm the N.Z. Fiigland match alone was Ltl.m>o. Dr Morgan states that the receipts from the All Blacks’ matches in Wales were £40,000. It is believed that the Wales and Ireland matches of the All Blacks each gave a profit of £SOOO, which is far in excess of their union’s heavy guaran-

The English Rugby Union’s All Black profit figures are in striking contrast to the cricket profits, which are shared, whereas none ol the football profit will go to the New Zealand Union. LONDON. January 28. The Canadian Pacific Railway Company will provide free first class travel for 'the All Blacks across Canada ti Vancouver. Thereafter the New Zealand team will travel as second class passengers, at the expense of the English Rugby Union.
