Received, From Canterbury Education Board notifying Aliss Ahiyuc was probably resigning and asking il the grant ot £■£ would lie continued to her successor.— Received. It was decided to continue ihe grant. From same acknowledging receipt ol .CGI 13s Id. contributions to secondary staff salaries.-- Received. From Department of Education, AYellingUin. in reference to the functions of the Board ami asking f<» statement of the position.- Received. The matter was left in the hands of the Chairman, Air Murdoch, and the Secretary to enter a strong protest against the proposed action ol the Department, The Board then rose.
