ROSS NEWS.
(Ei-oni a Correspondent). TRIPPXKR— UPJOHN. A very pretty wedding was celebrated in the Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, January 21st.. when Miss Thelma Upjohn, eldest daughter of the late Mr A. W. Upjohn and Mrs Upjohn of Ross, was united in marriage with Mr J. Trippnor, late of Edinburgh. The bride was daintily dressed in white satin maroeain, and the bridesmaid, her. cousin. Miss V. Berry in pink mousseline, with black hat. The bride entered the church on the arm of her uncle, Mr G. Anderson, who gave her away. The marriage service was conducted by the Rev. Mr Hutson, from Hokitika, and was very impressive. The ceremony was followed by a sumptuous wedding breakfast at the home of the bricle, and after the usual toasts, the happy pair loft for their honeymoon in the North Island followed by tiie good wishes of a large number of friends. The bride looked charming in her travelling costume of grey gabardine trimmed with black braid, hat of heliotrope, and black, and brown shoes and stockings.
