NOTICE OF MOTION. Mr Evans to ask leave to move:— “That with respect to the" inadequate water supply to the town, it commission. consisting of Mr .Jas Rockford, (ivmnara), irml the Borough Overseer (Air Alelvor) be .set up to investigate forthwith the present condition of the pipe line and reticulation, with a view to ascertaining the causes for the shortage of the supply, and suggest measures and cost to remedy tin' defect ; and further report ns to the necessity for supplementing the . apply, and. if in the aHirmativo, the cost of an auxiliary pipe line from Kanieri Fi rlnto the reservoir; and generally n pirt as to any- suggestions or proposals for ensuring a steady adequate supply ol water, and such safeguards as might he taken to ensure the best results towards that end.”
