Morel (Mr Park) a charge of driving a vehicle without a light at night. A plea, of guilty was entered. Sergt. King said that a col--li.sicji occurred between def'em Hint's trap and a motor truck, with the result that defendant was injured and the trap considerably damaged. Under the circumstances he would only ask for a conviction. Fined 5s and costs 7s. It was pointed out that there was a grave liability incurred and a warning must be taken. Same v. F. A. Pamment, a charge of riding st motor cycle without a light at night. Fined 5s and costs 7s. WANDERING CATTLE. Westland County Council (Mr Park) v. J*. J. The police charged a resident with being on licensed premises (Masonic Hotel) alter hours. Ordered to pay costs

7s. The Police charged two men with being on licensed premises (Dunedin Hotel) after hours. One was fined £1 and costs 7s. and the other £2 and costs 7s. Three residents were similarly chnrg(Club 1 Intel). One appealed and pleaded not guilty. After hearing the, latter stud Constable Doherty, be was fined £2 and costs 7s.
