JU’RN'KD TO DEATH. GREY MOUTH, January f.f. Dining, the early hours of yesterday morning. a fatal ami mysterious fire, in which u minor named William McCullen lost his life, occurred at Wniuta. Wellington, lived hy himself in a small hut. and was last seen about S..TO o’clock the previous evening, when he was entering the hut. At about one o’clock in the morning, Constable Houston discovered the hut in flames, and the remains of the unfortunate victim were afterwards funnd in the ruins. The origin of the fire is a complete mystery, as there was no light burning within the building for some hours prior to the fire being discovered.
