SUNDAY TEACHERS’ SUMMER SCHOOL.
Monday was .the last day of the school’s activities. Archdeacon Taylor concluded his studies of the Parables. Aliss Park conducted a demonstration class for 8 to 11-ycar old children, in the morning, and at 7 p.m. gave a
talk on the difficulties of country schools. The Rev. F. C. Lawrence delivered his last missionary address, telling the story of Sadia: Sundar Singh. On Tuesday a .second trip was made to Lake Knnicri. where a most enjoyable time was spent.
The residents of Hokitika entertained the membei.s of the school in the Soldiers’ Hall, and those present bad a most enjoyable time. Arelid. Taylor, on behalf of the visitors thanked all who had so valiantly worked to make the school possible, the preparing of accommodation for 83 people being no small task. The Rev. Air Perkins especially. was to ho thanked for his share in Hie work and was presented with a fountain pen as a memento.
