“WHITE RUSSIA.”
ATTACK ON “REDS” BEING PLANNED. AUSTRALIAN A!, T V> N.K. CABLE ASSOCIATION. LONDON, January 13. The “Daily Herald” diplomatic correspondent says:—The “White” Russian circles in London, Paris and Berlin make no secret of the fact that “White” armies are now being formed in Bulgaria and Servia, under General Skouru and General W ran gel, respectively. They are planning an attac’-. or, Soviet Russia in April and May. 'The “Daily Herald” says: “It is reported that Serbia and Bulgaria have consented to the' formation of foreign armies at Britain’s instigation, while ', it is alleged that British sources are supplying the funds, and partially supplying the munitions for the scheme. The paper demands the closest Parliamentary inquiry.

They declare Germany is being forced into the anti-Bolshevik ring, and they suggest that Britain wi'l take a hidden part in the Conference to he held at Helsingfors in on attempt to induce the Balkan States to participate. The Red diplomats (says the correspondent) are doing their utmost to prevent Finland and Poland from joining the block by promises of economic concessions.
The Moscow newspaper “Tm-ostia” says it. is expected a “white” invasion will occui- from Bavaria. Roimiania and possibly from the Balkan States within a few month,s. RAKOVSKY GOES TO MOSCOW. 1 .ONDON, January 12. The ‘(Evening Standard” suggests that the reason why AL Bukovsky is suddenly starting for Moscow is that ho will endeavour to save something from the wreckage of the Anglo-Soviet Treaty, particularly the trading clauses. This visit is the result of a long interview between Hr A. Chamberlain (Foreign Secretary), and Al. Bukovsky.
