The papers are full of Sunday’s match and unanimously extol the All Blacks’ mngnificient game. The gate money is estimated at hall a million francs, heating all records. “Lo Journal ’’ sums up its comments generally hv describing Llie New Zealanders as the Kings of Rugby and adds that the French team did its best. The paper pays a tribute to the impartiality of the Welsh referee and points out that the French public in applauding the winners shows that it can accept defeat, when not to some extent the outcome of decisions which, if not one-sided, are at least tactless. The “.Matin” describes the All Blacks as marvellous, saying: " They play Rugby as it should be played.” The “ Petit Parisien ” describes the All Blacks’ game was clean, exact and free from ail roughness.

Hon Winston Churchill received the leading All Blacks at the Crillon last evening and talked over this match with thorn. At a dinner in honour of the All Blacks and French teams, Mr Dean. (All Black manager), emphasised tie pleasure the All Blacks lelt at the really warm and friendly welcome they had received from the French public. Porter paid a tribute to the clean and plucky nlay of the French team.

A letter was read from Peltez, who is io hospital suffering from a fractured leg. expressing satisfaction, despite his accident, that he was able to participate in the match till the last minute. Berruricr, who alffo was not present, continued to play for half an hour in considerable pain, owing to a strained cartilege before he retired. THE FRENCH TEAM. PA RIB, Jan. 12. The French fifteen to meet the .ill Blacks at Toulouse did'ers in nine instances from that beaten at Colomhes. and with three exceptions will he the same as was defeated l.y Ireland.
