It was still sitting al a late hour. CASE BEFORE THE FEDERAL COURT. MELBOURNE, Jan. 8. In the Federal Arbitration Court, Mr Justice Bowers board both parties to the shipping dispute on the summons to determine pii king-up places. After argument, the parties to the dispute agreed to confer with a view to a settlement, and the Court adjourned. The Court then resumed the hearing, Mr Justice Powers making it clear that lie intended to grant the owners’ up- i plication that the shipping masters office be tbe picking-up place. Air Bruce has announced that the Commonwealth liner Hudson Bay will proceed from Melbourne to Hobart with stranded Tasmanians, and then return with stranded maiiilaiulers.
