In the Federal Arbitration Court, Mr Justice Bowers board both parties to the shipping dispute on the summons to determine pii king-up places. After argument, the parties to the dispute agreed to confer with a view to a settlement, and the Court adjourned. The Court then resumed the hearing, Mr Justice Powers making it clear that lie intended to grant the owners’ up- i plication that the shipping masters office be tbe picking-up place. Air Bruce has announced that the Commonwealth liner Hudson Bay will proceed from Melbourne to Hobart with stranded Tasmanians, and then return with stranded maiiilaiulers.
