The Hokitika Fire Brigade recently held a series of tlnee ciiinpctitimis among members which resulted as tol!nv. >: Dept.-Supt. Williams 110 3-5 secs. 1 (N.Z.C. Eactory’.s prize, and silver shield): Fireman A. Duneraft ifS 3-5 secs. 2 (1). Dowell’s Jtrize); Fireman K. Wallace 118 4-5 secs. 3. (A. W. Yarall's prize). It is intended to have a further series of competitions at an sally date, fur the shield.
