The District Traffic .Manager has advised tlic .Secretary of the Westland (, miimittco of the Canterbury Progress League, as follows:—• I have to advise you that the recent request of your League for an an accelerated train service between Hokitika and Greymouth and the reduction of the time at Gi'eyniouth on Saturdays, has been agreed to by the Railway Board, and the altered running will he brought into operation on .Saturday next, 10th. instant. The altered running will he as follows : —* The i resent 7.0 n a.m. train "ill leave Hokitika 8.211 a.m., Greymouth arrive 0.55 a.m. Tfie present 1.10 p.m. train will leave Greymuutli 1.30 p.m., Hokitika arrive b. 5 p.m. The 8.0 a.m. train will leave Greynuaiili B.ln a.m.. Hokitika arrive 10.5 a. in. The 4.30 p.m. train will leave Hokitika 5.20 p.m.. Greymouth arrive 7.10 ■p.m. The Ross trains "ill run as follows : —- Ross depart 6.n0 a.m.. 3.45 p.m. Hokitika arrive 7.50 a.m.. 4.40 p.m. Hokitika del art 10.35 a.m.. 0.40 ]>.m. Ross arrive 11.
