Vi'KSTLA.ND TROTTING CLUB. Ihe races were concluded alter we went to press yesterday. The attendance was salislaetory. and the weather perfect, a light breeze proving very welcome. I lie Town Band was present and enlivened the proceedings with a capital musical programme. I lie various booths appeared to be kept busy, while the several officials of the Club were at their posts, and the proceedings passed off very successfully. I he trotting was not of an exciting nature in several ol the races, the winner soon going on his own to win very easily. Speculation was lairly brisk. Anil. Lynch and his staff handling the sum of £7815 lor the day as against £7199 for last year, an increase for the meeting of £Ol9. The Club in aided a lOs tote ticket which proved popular with the smaller bettors. There were no protest* to mar the even tenor of the gathering and the events were run off well to time.
