WEDDING BELLS

Mr William Ei.silig. of Rahiatua, was married yesterday morning at fit. Ball ii k's Church Greymouth, to -Miss Killen (.’rough; third daughter of Mr and Mrs James C'rengh, of Brunner. The wedding was solemnised yesterday morning al St. Patrick s Church, Greymouth, of Mr Ignatius Whitaker, of Wellington, and .Miss Mary Sampson. eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs William Sampson of Albert Street The Nuptial Mass was celebrated by Rev. Father O’Regan. After Hie ceremony the wedding party wore entertained at a recherche breakfast at the bride’s parents’ residents. The bride was dressed in white satin, and wore the orthodox white veil and orange blossoms. The bridesmaids were -Miss L. Sampon, who wore pink satin marocain. and Miss V. Whittaker, of ’Wellington. who wore shot green taffeta. The bridegroom’s present to the bride was a gold wristlet watch. The bride’s present to the bridegroom was a set of military brushes. The bridegroom picsented the bridesmaids each with a string of pearls. The bridegroom was attended by Mr Cyril Heaphy and Mr Mr C. White was groomsman. Miami Mrs Whittaker left by the Christchurch express, en route to the Xortli Island, where the honeymoon will lie spent, prior to taking up their residence in Wellington. The bride travelled in a fawn coat frock with hat to match.
