Incidentally, he also wears horn rimmed spectacles and a grey checkered suit, with ls_dl bottom trousers. Get a lunch out of that! The nature does not leave him in such a predicament though, lor presently. Mix wets an opportunity to -how what he really is beneath the sad exterior and he swings into the fray with all his old abandon. “Soft I’.oiled" is the first Mix picture in which the clever star ever was east in a straight comedy role, and it gives him it new opportunity of which he lakes full advantage. Billie Dove plays the girl part and a capable cast assists. In fact, it is such a capable cast that not one member spoiled the picture h.v laughing at the wrong moment when Mix came on the set. The second big six-reel feature tonight is a Fnited Artists’ special, entitled “Paddy the Next Best Thing” starring Mae Marsh and an all-star cast.
