ALos.-rs .McAlahon ami Fee report having hold an exceptionally successfu| sale of store cattle and sheep at the a hove yards oil Thursday, when 130 store cattle and I s ! store wethers were yarded, and oflered to a huge and representative attendance of hovers from throughout the Grey \ alley and some well-known graziers from Hokitika district. The hulk of the store cattle yarded were A to 5 years. l!ullocks of good sorts and colours and in good forward condition. The store sheep consisted ot - to s tooth u ethers. Competition right throughout the sale for hotli cattle and sheep was exceptionally keen and a marked advance in prices was recorded, more especially- for "ood well £,rown storo ~ul,ocks which were eagerly competed for. The following sales were made: ~ forward bullocks, 5 yr olds at £3 15* 1 do. at €3 7s (id: 10 do. at €3 os 0 do at CO 7s Od ; 7.
