The recent illtemper suggests the Englishmen aie losing their fortitude in defeat, which formerly was' their special boast.
WHITE'S INJURY. LONDON. Dec. 18. White has dislocated his collarbone. N.Z. MISLED. LONDON. Dec. 18. The Daily Mail commenting on the New Zealand cables stating it was said if the tour proved that Englishmen can no longer take punishment smilingly, says it is astonished at such a message. The All Black everywhere have been warmly welcomed and hailed as the heroes of the biggest ’ '.dories which only increased their popularity. 1 10 large nutpber of penalties against them inevitably caused comment, but no qualified erite suggests that they were guilty of deliberate foul play.
