At a meeting last evening of the Grey Hospital Board, speaking to a matter arising out of the minutes, in reference to the permission given the Matron to purchase twenty suits for the men at the Old People's Home. Mr Brishlno said he had noticed a remark passed by Mr J. O’Brien, 31.1’., at Hokitika, flint the Board was purchasing tailor-made suits for the men at the Old People’s Home, and a leading article referring to the same thing appeared in the “ Argus.” “It is an erroneous idea,” he declared, " and could he misconstrued hy the public.
