At yesterday's A.rnlmra Fat .Stock Sale tla> yard in" comprised :!:! head of Fat cattle and 79 stores. The entry Mas .short of the usual complement hut notwithstanding the same there was apparently enough tor hutchens’ requirenients and heef sold on a par with the last fixture. There was however keen demand for vealers and stickers which sold well. The stores which were offered at the end of the fat stock sale sold well and there is an evident shortage of good grown forward two to three year old bullocks. No lambs or sheep were yarded. ADDINGTON STOCK MARKET. (By Telegraph.— Special to uuardiaa) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Messrs IT: Matson and Co., report as follows regarding their stock sale at Addington yards yesterday:— There was a very large yarding at Addington to-day in all detriments and tile sale of fat sheep was still unfinished at 7.710 p.ni. A large entry of store sheep, mostly composed pf dry sheep. The prices were on :t par with last week anil showed little change. A large yarding of heef which, owing to the butchers requiring two weeks’ supply, the market was firmer throughout. Prices were advanced 30s on last week, and the same remarks applv to mutton. The next sale at Addington will he on December 30th.
