From Canterbury Fire Underwriters’ Association asking for returns.— Received; already supplied. From J. .1. Williams. thanking Hoard for appointment as deputy superintendent.— Received. From Inspector lingo forwarding annual report, staling lie bad inspected on .251 li. January. Two oHirers and 17 firemen were in attendance tit the inspection muster. The steam lire engine and other inspection drills were carried out in the efficient manner customary with this brigade. The stations anil equipment were in the usual good order and condition. The at tendance at the live lire calls averaged 77 per cent of the the membership a fair record.— Received.
