The meeting of the Progress League called for this evening is postponed till to-morrow (Tuesday) afternoon at •! o’clock.—Advt. McMahon and Lee’s Totara Flat Sale has been postponed from “Wednesday jicxt to Thursday next at noon. The death took place at the Westport Hospital on Friday evening of MiHenry El ley,' aged 71 years. He was admitted to the hospital six weeks ago. with a broken leg. Mr Klley had resided in Westport for many years. He was one of the liest butchers in New Zealand, and his manner of dressing a window was the admiration of all. The late Mr Elley was held in high esteem by nil who knew him. He leaves a family of two sons nnd two daughters.
