The police reports right throughout the district were eminently satisfactory with the exception of Alex. Keid, of the Cnion Hotel. Grcymouth, the police having recently recorded several convictions for after hours trading; also the want of a housekeeper on the premises. A licensed bouse in Hokitika was also in an unfinished condition, as regards repairs, etc. This concluded the business, and t l, meeting adiaurned.
