CONCERT AND BALL.
The concert and hall held al Itiniu on Wednesday last in aid of the Woodstock school prize fund, was a {treat success, hotli financially and otherwise, (treat credit is due to the organisers. Purine the interval Mr Muir (Chairman) took the opportunity of thankin'; all those who assisted in making the function such a marked success. A hall followed which was a credit to the ladies’ working committee. ATr I . Ihiyd carried out his duties as M.t . in a capable manner, and the music, which was of a high standard was supplied by Messrs A. I.awn. lioss and Gibbons. The programme was as follows: Opening chorus, piano duet. Alt l tie and Charlie Stoop: solo. Aliss Davidson; “The Old Umbrella.” Infants: “Soldier Hovs.” junior hoys: Alonologue, Air Alansou; girls’ drill, senior girls - duet. Aliss Alansou and A.r Sham!.
