LATE LOCALS.
Messrs J. J. Dougall and Trevelyan ol Christchurch who postponed visiting Hokitika this week in connection with the Navy League, are postponing their visit till February next, when they will bring a long programme of new pictures detailing the work of the naval and Air forces.
Cabled advice was received on Saturday of the death at Gordon Vale, Queensland, on Wednesday last, of Mrs Albert Robinson (formerly Airs Neville) which took place after an illness extending over four months. Deceased was a native of Melbourne and 02 years ol age. For about 25 years deceased, with her husband, Air Neville, resided at Newton Flat. Duller, coming to Hokitika after the death of her husband, and for sour, time she was licensee of the Cafe de Paris Hotel, Hokitika, leaving Hokitika some Hi years ago. Later she married again and has since lived in Queensland where her death took place as stated. Deceased leaves a husband one daughter (Airs D. Jellie of Arahura) a granddaughter and three grandsons, and one sister (Airs Dunn of Westport).
