Holland has addressed the following letter to the t torney-Geiiernl: “In to-day's press. I have .seen the statement issued by your Department in answer to the complaints voiced by me in the House, with respect to A. A. Wilson; and I note that von have made the investigation asked lor. T want to take the strongest possible exception to this statement. After 1 had spoken in the House, the Hon. Mr I'arr definitely 1 romisod that an inquiry would he held. That promise has not been kept. I have not at anytime. boon notified to attend ail inquiry. I have never been given an opportunity to produce the evidence of the parties making the complaints, and whatever ‘investigation’ has been made, lias taken place in the absence of those who complained. I am sure that you will not seriously expect me to ho satisfied with that form of inquiry. I am leaving for my home by to-nigbt s steamer, and T have no time to do more than make a hurried and most emphatic protest against such a farcical method of inquiry, and the manner in which important facts have been left unstated.
