EXHIBITION COMMITTEE
Tile final meeting of tile Kxhibitiun Committee was held at the County Chambers at 7..39 o'clock last evening. There were present: Messrs \V. .1. Duller (chair). G. A. Perry. It. Wild. Aitkeii, W. .Jeffries, and Dr. Teichelmanu. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. The Treasurer reported the final disposal of the assets. ‘I In* total receipts to date were £8.1)23 19s Bd. with £l7 10s still unpaid. The expenditure had been £8..388 13s 9.1, with accounts £2O 7s {ld owing. It was resolved to have the accounts audited and call a winding up meeting of the guarantors on the loth. inst. when the disposal of the credit balance will he decided upon. With regard to supporting the Exhibition at Dunedin, it was resolved to call a meeting of local body representatives at Greymouth at 7.30 o’clock on Wednesdav evening next, and Messrs Butler. Jeffries, Evans and Dr. TeichelDiaiin agreed to attend and represent the Executive. Mr G. A. Perry will attend ns Mayor of Hokitika, and it was expected the Westland County Council would be represented also.
