Aside from the magnet of having so distinguished an actor essay the stellar role, the supporting east has l>ocn chosen with such definite cure and detail, that it reads like a roster of the !>est known players of the stage and screen. In fact, the making of the picture was delayed until every character down to the most unimportant super, was perfectly cast. In the cast of players occur such distinguished names as Carol Dempster, who plays the role of Alice Faulkner; Roland A’oung, who is the faithful Watson, and Gustave von Seyfiertitz, who gives an amazing portrait of the despicable Professor Moriarty. Iledda Hopper, Anders Randolph, Per-t-ival Knight, Lumsden llare Louis AVulheim, John AVillaril and Reginald Denny are also in the roster. A good supporting programme will he screened.
