The Seamens’ Union decided to black list Captain Davis, Commonwealth Director of Navigation. The crew of the Romhahi refused to take the ship to sea when they learned l’e was a passenger: they subsequently modi lied their decision, hut resolved if ever he again attempted to travel on an Australian vessel, the members of the crew would come ashore immediately.
