[Reuters Telegrams.] AUSTRALIAN LOAN. I.ONDON, Nov. 27. The “Financial Times” says: There are clearer terms for the new Commonwealth Loan, for these have favourably influenced the market. As n long-dat-ed, well-secured investment, it should appeal, especially to trustees. The “Financial News” says: “The yield is not very high, hut it is indicative of the trend of the gilt-edged securities.” The “Daily Express” remarks: ‘‘Ft is generally anticipated there will lie a good response.” The “Daily Chronicle” says: “The loan has rather stimulated the interest exising in overseas securiies than otherwise, on account of the new lower rate of interest cm loans of this type.” The “Morning Post” says: “It, will lie sc'cn that the Dominions are now evidently beginning to break through the live per cent, form of borrowing. The Dominions certainly cannot complain about not obtaining preferential treatment here where financial rei|uireinciits are concerned. There is the prospect of a fair response to these issues, because* there is rather a scarcity of stock among trustee securities at present.”
