verdict of wilful murder against Jex.'indcr Clarence Thomas and a warant was directed to be taken out for is arrest.
Thomas has not been seen for four ninths.

It var, obi iiiu.-. lo anyone who paid attention to tinease that there had been an attempt I,y Cropley to -bribe someone and it was obvious that Cropley had taken the course he did in order to shield that person. Whoever Cropley had attempted to bribe, it was not one of those whose names had been mentioned in this case. He contended that if the material supplied to the Crown-Solici-tor had been given to the Detective Department to make discreet inquiries they would have had enough material to secure something more pc-rtinent to the matter than the Royal Commission had been able to elicit.

“ Daily Telegaph ” newspaper company, regarding broadcasting of news. The “Telegraph” made an ox-partc application to the Equity Court to restrain Broadcasters Limited, its servants or agents, from broadcasting or transmil ting by wireless to the public any portion of the letterpress contained in the plaintiff Company’s newspapers and from infringing the copyright therein. The affidavit in support of the application set out allegedly that various portions ol the news and information appearing in the plaintiff’s newspaper was being broadcasted as being news supplied bv the newspaper. “ Daily Guardian.” That the plaintin's had not authorised or consented to the defendants sending out any news or information of any kind published in nnv of its newspapers, and that the plaintiffs had suffered and would suffer great damage by the defendants alleged actions. Marked copies of the “ Daily Telegraph ” were submitted, indicating a large variety of news which it was alleged had been broadcasted, and which it was alleged had boon transmitted as news supplied hy the “ Daily Guardian.” Justice I lamditou granted the plaintiffs leave to serve a short notice motion lor injunction.
