THE ALL BLACKS,
AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CAIILB ASSOCIATION “CRUX OK THE TOUR.” Mr C. .). Wrav., New Zealand's re| resentative on the English Rug,by Union, writes: --- ‘•lf the New Zealanders are as good as I think they are they ought to win every match. The crux of the whole lour •« ill lie the second London County match on December 27th at IMaeklieath. Of course, every New Zealander wishes to see ahs.lulely the best side play against England on January 3rd. If that best side is entirely reserved for the game against England it will have a spell of seventeen days without a match. The question is: Can they afford to do it? It we had an unbroken record lit) to Hut point we cannot risk losing the I’d n-k----hentli match, and the very best judgment would have to lie exercised so that xve shoiiild not risk on the one hand losing the Mlaekheath inate.b and on the other hand weaken by accidents the team for the England match.” (It- xvas in this second match against London Counties that the 101 Z .Springboks lost their only match in England.)
