The insurances on the building which is owned by Ilowron ailil Cov. are £IO.OOO in tic Northern Office. Guthrie and Bowron’s stock was insured for £IB.OOO in the Northern Office. Dickenson’s stock £7OOO in the Insurance Office of Australia.

Cooke Coy’s building was insured fo £BOOO and the stock and plant fo £SOO. distributed bet ween the Xoi Zealand Insurance Coy. and the Sent British City.

Stanley Neweotnhe’s stock was insured for £2,550 in the Sun Assurance Coy., Hunter and Sons £OOOO in the Victoria., the Auckland Millinery Stock £OOO in the South British.

At 11.15 a.m. the iron roof of Bowron’s building collapsed, which was followed by a portion of the north wall.
