“THE CHRISTIAN” —TUESDAY. On Tuesday evening McLean's present Hall Caine’s famous story “Tho Christian.” The story opens in the Isle of Alan, where John Storm (Rcliard Dix) and Glory Quale (Mae Busch) have lived since childhood. Polly Love (Phyllis Haver) and her brother Paul (Gareth Hughes) complete a quartette of playmates. John, only 18, barely realises bis love for Glory, when Lord Storm, bis father, sends hint on a trip round the world in order to prepare him for the political life for which he had been educated.
