MOUNT EVEREST. A SWISS EXPEDITION. Switzerland is preparin'; a national expedition to attempt to ascend Mount Everest, which the English failed, says a message from Geneva to the "Xtnv York Times.” The leader of the Swiss I group, scheduled to start in the spring ! of 192-3, is a well-known Swiss Alpinist who already has had experience in the Himalaya Mountains. His assistants will be some of Switzerland's best climbers, none over 35 years old. The Swiss intend omitting the heavy oxygen apparatus carried by the British expedition. Instead, they will carry small phials of compressed and liquid oxygen, to be injected by syringe and needle into the arteries if overcome by breathing difficulties.
Try Sharland’s Fluid Magnesia and you’ll always buy Sliarland’s. Fresher and more economical than imported Magnesia.—Advt.
