SYDNEY, November 8.
A distinct earth tremor accompanied by loud rumhlings was felt near Canowindra. Several brick houses cracked and utensils dislodged from selves, At Cargo fourteen miles away bote walls were cracked, and bottles shnkei from the shelves and counter.
POLITICAL. MELBOURNE, November 8. After a meeting of Cabinet Mr Prendergast stated if the Government were defeated on Mr Allan’s no confidence motion lie would ask the Governor to dissolve Parliament.
