["Tub Times” Service.] WAR BONES WINDFALL. (Received this day at 9.15 a.in.) LONDON, Nov. 7. The Appeal Court decided in favour of the employees in the last of six test eases in connection with the Post Office clerks and telegraphists’ claim for full civil pay, in addition to the war holms, during their miltary servee. The decision will mean a windlall of two millions sterling, to olio hundred thousand employees.
NEW AIRSHIPS. (Received this day at 9.25 n.m.) LONDON, Nov. 7. Two airships of the type cabled yesterday are under construction. One of them is now being built at the Royal Air Works, and is destined for naval and military purposes. It is understood that the other, which Vickers are building, will he the pioneer air liner, almost the length of the Aqtiitania. An air expert expresses the opinion that the public will he amazed at the developments ill the near future. The new airship will accommodate 120 passengers, and will have luxurious state rooms, ft is expected it will reach Roa-.hay from London ill five days, and Australia in eight days. The fuel will lie heavy oil instead of petrol, which will mean economy, and safely from fire. She is due for delivery in September 1927, and will make a trial trip to India.

The movement is regarded as reflecting the rather general relief ol the market than any change in the international situation ; also the optimism of outlook of the foreign political settlement in Britain and America. Other European exchanges emulated sterling’s new high levels, also Dutch and Swiss.

Celebrations on Annistic Day yesterday we.e marred by a .series of disturbances in various parts of the country due to the intense political animosities of Fascists and their Liberal opponents, notably Italian Liberal political organisations, ex-soldiers headed by Garibaldi brothers, a number of Italy’s leading military officers during the war., In Milan. Fascists broke into a Republican Club and trid to set lire to the building, while the editor and manager of the 'Liberal “(orricre Della .Serra” were both maltreated. The tornier was knocked senseless. The majority of those injured. however, were Fascists, the explanation being that the public seeing ex-soldiers attacked took their side against the Fascists.
PLOTTERS SENTENCED. LONDON. Nov. 7. According to advices from Koval, the trial ol 159 Communists on a charge of plotting a coup do ctat, begins on Nov. 10th. Two men were discovered piercing a hole in Hie wall of a prison and were arrested after an exchange <d shots. Thev confessed they were hired 1 )V a secret Communist organisation to rescue prisoners. Both were couitniartialled and were sentenced t" death. _____
