COMMERCIAL ITEMS.

INANGAIIUA JUNCTION SALK. McMahon and Lee held their usual sale fixture at the above yards last Monday. The yarding comprised 3G prime quality fat cattle from South Westland, 31 local fat and store cattle, 310 fat wethers and 230 well-grown mixed hoggets in the wool. The quality of the Southern cattle was very good, also the fat sheep and the whole yarding was cVared with the exception of the line of hoggets which did not readi tier vendors’ reserve, and a few store cnttle. A full attendance of buyers were present and competition right throughout the sale, for both cattle and sheep was keen for any good, quality stuff. The following sales were made: G fat bullocks at £i t os, 5 at £l4 2s Gd, 4 at £l3 Us (id, I at £l2, 7 at £9, 1 at £3 10s, 2 fat cows at £l4, 8 at £l3, 3 at £l2 7s Gd, 1 at £l2 os, 2 at £ll 3s, 2 at £9. 1 at £8 7s Gd, 1 at £G. 3 at £3. I fat heifer at £ll 17s Gd, G at £ll 3s, G at £lO 7s Gd. 9 at £lO os, 3 at £lO. 2 at. £3, 1 stag at £3, 1 at £2 2s Gd. fi two-year old steers at £2, 2 two-year old stecis at £2. 1 two-year old heifer at £3. 1 yearling heifci at£2 2.s Gd. 1 two-year old steer at £2 2s Gd; I yen lings at 13s, 2 store cows at £3.
