PARLIAMENT
[BY TELEGRAPH—TER TRESS ASSOCIATION LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL. AVELLINGTON, November 0. The Legislative Council met at 10.30 a.m. to-day. The Council agreed with the minor amendments proposed by tbe Governor in Alotor A'ehicles Bill. Alanagers were set up for a second conference on the Cawthron Trust Bill. On resuming the Council passed the Appropriation Bill and after a number of valedictory speeches, finally adjourned. HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES. AYlien tbe House resumed, a message was received from the Legislative Council that they had passed the Appropriation Bill.
At 4.30 p.m. the Speaker returned with the measure signed by His Excellency.
After receiving a number of Parliamentary papers, Alcssrs Afassey, AA ilford, Holland and AVittv delivered valedictory speeches, which wero replied to by tbe Speaker and Chairman of Committees.
On the motion that the House adjourn, a division was taken and tbe motion was carried by 23 to 21, and the third session of the 21st Parliament came to an end with tbe singing of the National Anthem.
