Hendry took three wickets for 88 and Far rant Z for r,o. \ ictoria in tho second innings have lost 1 wicket for 118 (.Mayne Ponslord tin i d.B, Woodlield (in) 81). South Australian batsmen played defensively, runs coming slowly and the lifeless hatting continued throughout the innings, Walsh having hatted MS minutes for twenty-nine runs. South Australia badly failed to reproduce the first innings form.
