Liddicutt livened up the game and scored seven in one over and seventeen in the next. He hit six fours and one six. The fielding throughout was good and •Emmett's howling was splendid. South Australia opened well and runs were added at the rate of one per minute. A. Richardson hatted confidently and well, scoring without effort oil' all bowling.
