Dannevirke Hospital District Hill and Waimakariri Harbour District Empowering and Amendment Rill were passed from the House, read a first time and referred to the local committee.

Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Amendment, Companies Empowering Hill, Legislature Amendment' Bill No 2, British Nationality and Status of Aliens (in New Zealand) Amendment Hill.
The Finance Hill was brought down hv Governor’s message. The Premier staled it contained the borrowing proposals of the Government which were two millions for public works and not less than live millions for the Advances Department. It did not contain any proposal for the reduction of taxation on Country Racing Clubs. After receiving reports from several Select Committees, the House at 11.5 p.m. rose till 11 a.m.
