HOKITIKA SCHOOL COMMITTEE.

From Canlorhnrv Education Board stating that the question of painting the caretaker’s cottage would have to he deferred, hut the spouting would be repaired. Received. From Teacher South Spit School giving average attendance, of 19 out of 21.—Received. It was resolved to hold the consideration of the annual excursion over til! after a public meeting to lie called to discii'-s it. H us. |o;olu*d I" apply to tln* Railway Traffic Manager to hold the abandoned 1923 excursion on the Saturday next, when the school children go to Ross. Tt was unanimously resolved to nominate It. Wilil for the vacancy oil the Education Hoard. Accounts amounting to Cl 18s 9d were passed for payment. The same two members were re appointed a.s a visiting committee for the ensuing month.
